Last weekend, february 13th-14th, I went to Hamar to participate in a large scrapbooking crop. We were 50 ladies or so, and I had a great time making layouts and chatting:D

Small (10x15 cm or something) elephant tray from Norway Design :)


Fox prints from Paper Sparrow, found the artist through Elsie Flannigans blog, they are so pretty and I got 2 for the prize of 1 <3 Click here to go to her Etsy.



And last, a little hedgehog refrigerator magnet from Norway Design.


I really want some cute small plates to eat cookies and fruit and such of. We only have dinner plates and bowls at the moment and it's impractical some times.. Tips for where to buy such plates are appreciated, if you've seen any nice ones lately :D

Mr. Handsome

Yoshi is 8 months and 5 days today, hurray for such an event:D

He's still the cutest dog and imo really handsome <3 He was at his first show on December 29th and got 1st place and a good review. The judge thought he was "too small" though, whatever, I think he's perfect:D

He has the best personality, he's really calm and easygoing but playful, especially with other dogs, always happy and loves them all. He loves the people around him but doesn't care much for strangers (not aggresive of course, just.. uninterested). He's not very cuddly but enjoys a little scratch on the tummy or a hug now and then:) I forcecuddle him all the time though, he's so soft I can't resist. He can be obedient but he is pretty strong willed as well and stubborn too..haha. Mixed with a fear of strange places it can be a challenge when we are going somewhere new with him^^ Still the best dog ever ;)

Here's two layouts I made last year at Scrappegodis' crops :) Both are with photos from a trip to the Alps in France, 2006. The first one is me and my friend renting sleds, that was so fun! The second one is about the awful food they served at our hotel.. ^^

Happy New Year!

I don't really have any new year's resolutions, but I do have some plans and goals for 2010.. :)

Learn to knit.


Make our apartment cuter.


Go hiking in the Norwegian mountains with my dad and little sister in the summer. This makes it necessary to go to the gym more often too, since I need to be in better shape before the hike if I am to survive ^^


Read!


Photograph more. I wanna try analog film again too and I'm probably gonna take a dark room class to learn how to develop my own photos.


Be a good student when I start my masters degree in Informatics.


Dye my hair.



Go to concerts. Already have tickes for Hatebreed and Machine Head January 29th :)


Spend time with my boyfriend this spring as he might move far away come summer because of his education.



I think this will be a good year ;) What are your plans and goals?

Christmas!

A blog post about my christmas celebration this year, lots of photos, enjoy :P

Let's start with the most important part, presents for me!


My parents gave me these very cool yellow Hunter boots, yay! Ready for rainy spring days now :D


I got this Chocolate tea from my little sister, she bought it in India! I really like the pretty fabric bag the tea is in, hope it tastes good too :)


All the Hello Kitty-stuff I got.. T-shirts, candy, toothbrush, socks etc, fun :)


My christmas gift from my boyfriend... He was very creative when he wrapped this! Inside was candy, concert tickets (Machine Head + Hatebreed) and 1TB external harddrive (so i can back up all my photos)

Christmas Eve is mostly the same every year in my family. We eat porrige for lunch, and both me and my little sister get the almond (even though I'm 24 now) and since we don't like marzipan we get a santa chocolate instead.

Later we dress up and take the traditional christmas photo of me and my sister in front of the christmas tree. My outfit this year was a short green dress from H&M and my fav. black pumps.





Around 6pm we eat christmas dinner with ice cream for dessert.

After dinner we unwrap our presents one at a time while we eat christmas cookies. My mom, my sister and I really enjoy wrapping pretty presents, the wrapping process is an important part of the preparations and it makes for a nice showing under the christmas tree :)

On December 25th my sister and I get stockings with candy and such in them and we eat a big christmas breakfast. My boyfriend came to join us for breakfast and aftewards I went with him to visit his family:)
